Carbonyl compounds react within the DNPH cartridge to form immobilized hydrazones which can be eluted and analyzed by HPLC.
Determination of formaldehyde
Typical Application: Atmospheric aldehydes and ketones are trapped by reacting with the DNPH in the cartridge to form stable hydrazone.
